Tunnel

You head into a dark tunnel. You can't see the other side but you have been told there is light at the end; a great prize awaits you if you can trust what they say. It is an end to the pain and suffering you feel every day. A 7 year journey can finally come to a close. You think it is right so you press on and go in deeper. It is dark. There is no light. It is hard to walk. I feel dizzy and I struggle through the most basic of human functions. I pray that this will all be for something, otherwise...I keep walking forward and hoping I will reach the other side very soon.
