Cancer me this

Cancer: the disease caused by an uncontrolled division of abnormal cells in a part of the body.

Is that dangerous or just misunderstood? I do not believe the body does anything blindly or without reason. Where modern medicine sees uncontrolled and without cause I see purposeful and driven movement of the body. Cells are influenced by their environment and through transformation into neoplastic cells they are protecting themselves from death and ultimately the body from injuring itself. Barrett’s esophagus is a perfect example of the cellular transformation from acid exposure and can even become cancerous if the onslaught of acid reflux from the stomach continues.

There is an action that precedes all consequence. Nothing comes from nothing. Just as spontaneous generation has been proven false so is the unknown cause of cancer. The cause is the body’s own defense mechanism to what it perceives as a systemic threat to that system.
