I get it. We lament the pain we feel of the lack of severity in the Brock Allen Turner rape conviction. However, I am more pained because this type of horror literally happens everyday and no one complains. no one calls it out to stop. and certainly there are no fb posts about it. on dairy farms across this nation cows are raped everday day on what farmers actually call, no joke, "rape racks" to enseminate them to have a baby in 9 months because ALL mammals have to give birth before they can produce milk. That calf shortly after it is born is then kidnapped from the mother and the milk meant for the calf is taken and given to people. If that calf is a boy it is turned into veal. If that calf is a girl it is destined to become its mother. We as people just blindly continue to drink another animals milk because of the lies of the dairy industry about a fictitious need for calcium. The truth is milk makes you anemic because it suppresses your ability to absorb iron. People are not crying out about all this rape and kidnapping but cows are. Take a listen. If you have a conscience you will feel the pain of these mothers losing their babies.
